Blogroll Sarlink Phil goes social networks: Blog Another cartoon August 2010 Hi there. I think it’s really sympathetic of TPE Magazine that they keep paying attention to my experiments. Early this year, they mentioned my floating experiment. Do you remember that one, when I invented cars that float to beat traffic? Another experiment of mine, about my latest floating experiment involving a huge balloon, appeared on the back cover of their second issue of this year. You can see it by clicking on the image below. Unfortunately this experiment ended up rather painful for me. Did you ever meet a Boeing 747 face to face somewhere high in the sky? Nope, I thought so! Well, I did and let me tell you… it’s no picknick at all! Ofcourse, these little accidents are a logical consequence of the life I’m leading as an inimitable and successful scientist. For sure it does not stop me from trying new things! Otherwise I would not have discovered that Sarlink TPVs are the best solution if you’re looking for extremely good sealing properties. Speak to you later! Cartoon hero - the evidence Hi there! Do you remember that I blogged about my floating experiment ending up in a cartoon on the back cover of TPE Magazine? I found out that even an animated version of this cartoon exists. Amazing! I accidentily found it on YouTube when I was searching for interesting experiments. You know, those TPV guys. Go check it out here. You know what's so great about it? It's also available in Spanish and Chinese. Amazing! And I can't even read Chinese. When I think about it, neither can I read Spanish. Maybe I should consider a course 'cause I'm really curious about their Chinese website. Hmmm, maybe my nextdoor neighbour can help me. She often orders Chinese food you know. So I would guess she certainly must know something. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to like my experiments very much. But I would really love to get to know her better. I think she's great! Anyway, must go now. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my new experiment. Anyway, 2010 is even more exciting than last year, when I discovered the best kept secret of the plastics and rubber industry: Sarlink TPV. It’s just like rubber, but it’s not. It’s plastic. Amazing! I did quite a lot of experiments on Sarlink TPV. In one of them I even risked my own life! I ended up dangling from an electricity pylon. Really dangerous! I know there are videos of this experiment but to be honest I don’t dare watching again. “Are there ever things going right at once?”, you must be wondering. Well, to tell you the truth: rarely. Other experiments went so disastrously, there do not even exist any videos. I’m good at multi-tasking. But swimming to save my ehm… you know what and keeping my camera dry is asking too much. This floating experiment ended up in TPE Magazine as a cartoon. Me, Phil Gains, in a real cartoon! Amazing! I’ll add it to this blog as soon I get my hands on this exclusive material.
